Road to Version 0.2 - Company Dashboards, Save/Load, and More!

Hello, architects!

Development is in full swing, and we're incredibly excited to pull back the curtain on our next major milestone: Version 0.2, planned for release later this month!

This update is all about building the essential "tycoon" backbone of the game, giving you the tools you need to feel like a true CEO of a burgeoning design firm. We're moving from individual mechanics to a more cohesive management experience.

The Company Dashboard: Your Mission Control

The Company - overview task is our top priority. We're building a comprehensive dashboard that will be your central hub for all company-related information. You'll be able to see your current finances, track your firm's reputation, and—most excitingly—view a complete history of all your completed projects. It's the one screen you'll need to make informed strategic decisions about your company's future.

Know Your Team: Employee Card Overhaul

Managing your employees is key. The Employees - employee card involves a complete visual and functional overhaul of the employee UI. We're moving to a detailed "card" system that will show you everything you need to know at a glance: their portrait, their skills visualized as bars, their salary, and their current mood. This will make hiring and assigning the right person to the right project a much more intuitive and strategic process.

Your Progress, Saved!

Perhaps the most critical feature for any tycoon game is the ability to save your progress. Saving V1 and Loading V1 will be our first implementation of simple save/load mechanic. This initial version will cover all the essentials: your company finances, your roster of employees, and the state of your active and completed projects. And yes, this also includes a proper loading screen to make the experience seamless.

We are working hard to get Version 0.2 tested, polished, and into your hands by the end of this month (August 2025). This update lays the foundation for all the exciting design and customization features to come.
